Albert Smith*

Property Director/Solicitor and passed SQE1 and SQE2 with the College

Hi, I'm Albert Smith and I'm a Property Director and Solicitor, I studied the SQE1 and SQE2 with the College of Legal Practice and am now working as a qualified solicitor.

Why did you choose to study with The College of Legal Practice?

I found the College while online for an SQE provider that suited my needs. I chose the college because the people dealing with my enquiry were very friendly and forthcoming. I was given a trial period to access the pilot materials, which was very important to me, as I needed to ensure that the materials were accessible with my iPhone and iPad accessibility features due to visual impairment.
In addition to this, the course delivery looked perfect for me as it was online with some support when required via the 1-2-1 sessions.

Reflections on the College's SQE1 and SQE2 preparation courses

My experience of studying with the college was good. The materials were great and the Canvas app was brilliant. In addition to that the one to one support was reassuring for me. For both SLK and SLS, the sheer volume of practice questions and mock assignments was invaluable and ensured a continuous challenge.

“The reasonable adjustments the College made were more than satisfactory; extra time in all of the assessments with the assistance of a Scribe and provision of materials in other formats i.e. Word/PDF when required. Also, the supervisor/tutor was supportive and assisted in dealing with issues as and when they arose.” - Albert Smith, SQE1 and SQE2 student.
