SOPHIE AZZOPARDI
Qualified solicitor at Acuity Law, passed SQE1 and SQE2 with the College

Sophie Azzopardi recently qualified as a solicitor at Acuity Law, having completed both her SQE1 and SQE2 exams with The College of Legal Practice. After studying Philosophy, Politics and Economics at undergraduate level, Sophie completed her GDL before joining Acuity through a vacation scheme. She began her training contract alongside SQE preparation with the College, balancing full-time legal work with flexible, online study.
Now a qualified solicitor, Sophie’s journey reflects the benefits of combining practical legal experience with SQE training. The flexible structure of the College’s programme enabled her to manage client responsibilities while preparing for her exams.
Sophie's experience studying for the SQE while training
In this podcast, Sophie shares what it was like to study for the SQE while working full-time as a trainee solicitor at Acuity Law. She discusses her experience of studying while working full-time in Acuity’s trainee programme, reflecting on the support she received, her preparation for the SQE exams, and what it’s like to train and qualify within a modern, forward-thinking law firm.
