Calling all legal practice experts.
We are seeking to expand our pool of legal practice experts to deliver our postgraduate law programmes.
We are looking for professional law supervisors experienced in the law of England and Wales across all areas of practice including Business, Wills, Tort and Solicitors Accounts.
To become a teaching supervisor with The College of Legal Practice, you need to have had experience of delivering postgraduate professional law modules and/or have worked in legal practice.
The teaching is fully virtual with a high level of flexibility in an inclusive and supportive team.

Knowledge, skills and experience required:
- Demonstrated aptitude for teaching
- Enthusiasm for the development and continual improvement of teaching skills
- Demonstrated ability to work cooperatively with colleagues in a team
- Strong knowledge and background in legal practice
- The ability to teach across at least two of the core practice areas covered by SQE1
- An enthusiasm for the practice of law and an ability to communicate that enthusiasm
- An understanding of the strategic context of the legal profession and its associated industries
- Excellent communication skills, both oral and written
- Demonstrated capacity or willingness to contribute to the creation and maintenance of course materials (multi-media and online), stakeholder liaison and project management
- Sound project management skills with demonstrated ability to multi-task and achieve priorities within tight timelines
- Awareness of educational technologies including online delivery
- Awareness of good practice in terms of data protection and information security
- Proficiency in use of MS Office, web conferencing software and learning management systems
Qualifications required:
- Possession of a tertiary qualification in law and eligibility to practise as a lawyer in England and Wales
Desirable qualifications:
- A teaching qualification such as a Graduate Certificate or Graduate Diploma in Education, or willingness to undertake training and/or such a qualification
Please note that supervision is fully remote, and as such, access to IT equipment and a stable internet connection will be essential.
Teaching will be required on an ad hoc basis, agreed with the scheduling team as required and is perfect for those looking to supplement their current role.
Teaching is paid at £50 per hour.
