Are you a highly organised editor with a passion for creating accurate, engaging and high-quality learning content? The College of Legal Practice is seeking a Content Editor to join our Academic Team.

In this varied role, you will contribute to the development, maintenance and publication of learning content and educational resources across the College's programmes. Working closely with Module Leaders, Content Designers, Subject Matter Experts and colleagues in the UK and Australia, you will help ensure our learning materials remain accurate, current, accessible and aligned with student needs.

This is an exciting opportunity for someone with experience in publishing, content editing or educational content development who enjoys managing multiple projects and maintaining high editorial standards in a collaborative, fast-paced environment.

About You:

  • Degree-level qualification.
  • Demonstrated experience in the publishing industry, including knowledge of publishing workflows and content lifecycles.
  • Demonstrated experience writing and editing learning content.
  • Ability to create and maintain relevant, accurate and up-to-date learning content and publications.
  • Experience commissioning content, managing authors and administering contracts.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Strong attention to detail and commitment to producing high-quality work.
  • Ability to think creatively and develop innovative solutions.
  • Experience using a range of IT systems and learning management systems, including Microsoft products.
  • Strong organisational skills with the ability to plan, prioritise and manage multiple tasks to meet deadlines.
  • Ability to work collaboratively with colleagues, subject matter experts and external stakeholders.
  • Proactive, solutions-focused and comfortable working independently when required.
  • Ability to work remotely in a distraction-free environment with a reliable internet connection.
  • Willingness to support occasional out-of-hours operational activity where required (with TOIL arrangements).
  • Experience in an education or training environment using learning management systems would be advantageous.
  • An interest in, or background in, the legal profession or legal education would be beneficial.

Location: Remote (UK-based)
Hours: Full time, 35 hours per week
Salary: £35,000 per annum
