Christmas closure

The College will be closed for the Christmas period from 1pm on Wednesday 24 December, re-opening at 9am on Monday 5 January 2026.

 

Current students

During this closure period, no teaching or assessment will take place.

You can continue to access and utilise all resources through Canvas during the closure period.

 

Student Services and contact

The Student Services team inbox will not be monitored during this period.

The team will respond to all queries upon our return in January.

Telephone lines will also be closed during this period. If you leave a voicemail, we will return your call when the College re-opens.

 

For prospective students and applicants

If you have submitted a new application or accepted an offer to study with us during the Christmas closure period, your enrolment will be progressed to next steps when the College re-opens.

Please rest assured that this will be done in time for you to join your chosen intake.

Wellbeing and Mental Health Support

24/7 mental health support remains available to all College students during the closure period.

Support is available via our partner organisation, Spectrum Life.

Through Spectrum, students can access the Student Assistance Programme (SAP) at no cost, providing confidential support from trained counsellors and psychotherapists.

Getting Help

Highlighted below are the main sources of support for you whilst learning with the College.

 

Your College log-in

You should receive your COLPASS Student Number and password via email once you have enrolled on a course that will give you access to the Learning Portal. You can access the Learning Portal via this link or through the website.

 

IT Support

If you are having any problems accessing or using the learning within the Learning Portal, Canvas, or Zoom, please contact IT Support on: 0207 760 7486 or email itsupportuk@collegalpractice.com. Support is available outside normal working hours.

 

Course Related Enquiries

If you have any questions regarding your course content, assignments or supervisions please contact your supervisor. You can email them using your Canvas Inbox. Please note that you may have more than one supervisor across your courses.

 

Mental Health & Wellbeing Support

We care about the Mental Health and wellbeing of all our students. That’s why we have a comprehensive package of free wellbeing support available to everyone learning at the College. As well as having your assigned Personal Tutor, we have partnered with Spectrum Life to ensure you have all the wellbeing support you need to succeed.

Whether you wish to access wellbeing materials online yourself, refer yourself for counselling directly or seek advice about anything from improving your mental health to support with parenting the College and Spectrum will support you.

Everyone in our Student Services Team is trained in Mental Health first aid, so if you’re not sure where to seek support or what sort of support you need, please contact our Student Services team at studentsupport@collegalpractice.com or  020 3884 4112 (Option 2).
