How to book tickets

For your convenience, the College works alongside Ede and Ravenscroft, who manage ticket bookings for your graduation ceremony.

If you wish to purchase tickets for the graduation ceremony, please visit our booking platform.

BOOK TICKETS

When you click this link, you should click “Use the Graduation Hub”.

To gain access to the ticketing platform, you will be required to enter:

• Your institution – i.e. The College of Legal Practice
• Your College ID - i.e. your COLP number, for example COLP0009999
• Your surname
• Your personal email address

When you enter into the ticketing platform, you can select your event (Regent’s University London, 08 December 2026).

You can then specify your award details – either Graduate Diploma in Law (GDL) or Masters in Law (LLM).

From here, you will be able to:

• Purchase your own graduation ticket
• Purchase up to 2 guests tickets (Optional)
• Order your gown for hire at graduation (Optional)
• Purchase a photography package (Optional)

Once you have completed these steps, the items will appear in your “basket” and you can check-out and make payment.

When to book tickets

Tickets can be booked from Monday 3rd August at 12:00.

Tickets can be booked until 30th October at 11:45pm.

Tickets will be sent for you and your guests on the 13th November.

Guest tickets

To ensure the comfort of all guests in the ceremony hall, we have limited guest tickets to a maximum of 2 per graduate.

We know that many of you will want to celebrate your graduation with more than two people so we’re pleased to announce that, this year, we will be livestreaming the ceremony. Further information will be provided on this closer to the time.

Cost of tickets

The cost of a graduate ticket is £40.

The cost of each guest ticket is £10.

If you require a carer ticket, there is no cost.

If you are bringing a child who does not require their own seat, there is no cost.

PREPARING FOR YOUR CEREMONY

To attend graduation, the first thing to do is book tickets for your ceremony. Please see the “Booking Tickets” section for guidance on how to do this.

Travel

We know that are graduates will be travelling from far and wide, so we encourage you to plan your journey well in advance.

The address for your graduation is: The Regent’s Park Campus, Regent’s University, Inner Circle, Regent’s Park, London, NW1 4NS.

When you arrive at Regent’s University, please go to the main entrance.

On the Regent’s University website, you will find instructions on getting to Regent’s by car, by underground and by air.

Academic Dress

Hiring a gown is optional for the College’s graduation.

If you do wish to hire a gown, you can do this as part of the booking process on the Ede and Ravenscroft platform.

If you aren’t sure yet whether you wish to hire a gown, you can add this to your booking down the line. We recommend that you organise this at least 2 weeks prior to the ceremony.

There will be a small number of spare robes available for hire on the day, but these will be available on a first-come first-serve basis, and will be more expensive than booking before the day of the ceremony.

There is an option, via the ticketing platform, to hire your gown for a one-week period.

Booking and paying for graduation gowns is organised by Ede and Ravenscroft through the ticketing platform. If you have any questions about your robe hire, you should contact Ede and Ravenscroft directly on 01223 734 759.

Photography

As part of the booking process on the Ede and Ravenscroft platform, you can purchase a professional photography package.

This is optional and you are not required to purchase professional photography.

If you wish to purchase a photography package, there are various options available in the ticketing platform. You can add these to your booking prior to the day.

If you have any questions about your photography package, you should contact Ede and Ravenscroft directly on 01223 734 759.

You may be able to purchase professional photography on the day, but this will depend on availability and will be more expensive than booking beforehand.

Name Pronunciation

On your ceremony day, your name will be announced by the Registrar, to the congregation, when you are on stage. We want this moment to feel special for you, and that includes making sure your name is pronounced correctly. Although occasional mistakes can happen, we do everything we can to avoid them. To help us get it right, please send us the phonetic pronunciation of your full name when you are booking your tickets.

On The Day

We know this is a very important day for our graduates and you may be wondering what to expect. We hope this information will help you feel prepared, but please reach out if you have any questions or there is anything you feel we haven’t covered.

Arrival and Registration

The ceremony starts at 14:00.

If you have booked academic dress, we recommend arrival at around 12:30. If you have not booked academic dress, aim to arrive for 13:15.

When you arrive, please first go to Reception, who will direct you to Herringham Hall.

Outside Herringham Hall, there will be a Registration Desk for you to check-in. We may need to see your ticket, so please have this ready on your phone or printed off.

Robes

When you have registered, you can walk to Knapp Gallery to collect your academic dress (if applicable).

Photography

If you plan to have photography, this will also take place in Knapp Gallery, so you can be photographed immediately after you have collected your academic dress.

Before the Ceremony

If you have spare time before the ceremony, you can attend Herringham Hall with your guests for refreshments.

At 13:30, guests will be asked to walk to Tuke Hall to take their seats.

Graduates moving to Ceremony

Between 13:30 and 13:50, all graduates will be taken to Tuke Hall to be seated.

Graduates sit together in Tuke Hall, not with their guests.

Seating

Seating is arranged by qualification, so students on the Graduate Diploma in Law will be seated together and students on the LLM in Legal Practice will be seated together.

During the Ceremony

The ceremony will begin with a procession of academic staff.

A full order of ceremony will be circulated closer to the graduation date, but you can expect:

• Presentation of all graduates
• Guest speaker
• Student speaker
• Exit procession

We would expect the ceremony to last around one hour, to end at approximately 15:00.

After the Ceremony

After the ceremony, graduates and guests will be invited to Herringham Hall for refreshments and to network with peers and staff from the College.

You can purchase additional photography, should you wish, and can return your academic dress to Knapp Gallery.

The event will end at 16:30 and graduates can make their way home, or to celebrate further elsewhere.
